  • Melasma: Melasma is a very common patchy brown, tan, or blue-gray facial skin discoloration, usually seen in women in the reproductive years. It typically appears on the upper cheeks, upper lip, forehead, and chin of women 20-50 years of age. People with olive or darker skin, like Hispanic, Asian, and Middle Eastern individuals, have higher incidences of melasma. Melasma is usually very deep at the dermal layer. That's the reason make some other laser can not reach and treat melasma at dermal layer and sometime can cause burn, crate PIH and make melasma even worse. Our Pastelle laser utilize 1064nm wavelength make it reach the dermal layer and scatter melanin cells. Over the time, melasma patch will get lighter and lighter, leave the skintone bright and even.

  • PIH (Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation)

  • Tattoo Removal

  • Age spots

The treatments is safe, painless and quick, provide a quick rejuvenation for the skin and at the same time, this laser uses acoustic vibrations to break up the pigments which scatter into small pieces.

  • Who is a candidate for Pastelle Toning?
There are a few conditions for which you should consider Pastelle Toning. It can be a very effective tool for reducing the appearance of melasma, or areas of brown skin pigmentation usually brought on by hormonal shifts, such as pregnancy. Pastelle Toning can also help reduce the appearance of other dark spots and lesions, as well as pores and fine wrinkles.
  • What is the recovery time for Pastelle Toning?
There is no patient downtime associated with the Pastelle Toning treatment. Most patients can return to their normal daily activities immediately after treatment. Take care to use a high SPF sunscreen on all treated areas and avoid direct sun exposure before and after treatment. Prolonged sun exposure can cause and exacerbate existing melasma, and sun exposure directly after laser treatment can increase the risk of hyperpigmentation.
  • Are there any risks or side effects with Pastelle Toning?
This is a non-ablative laser procedure, which means the laser works without heating the surface of the skin. This translates to virtually no pain or downtime for the patient.
  • How long do the results last?
The Pastelle Toning treatment is a gradual process. Most patients will need to undergo 6-8 sessions before they begin to see results. Avoiding sun exposure before and after treatment can help to maximize and prolong results.
  • Does the treatment hurt and long does the treatment take?
The treatment is painless and it only takes about 10-15 minutes.

Sunscreen with Zinc Oxide 5% or more should be used as least 2 weeks prior to treatment. 5. Makeup should be avoided on the area to be treated for 4 hours prior to treatment if possible. 6. All medications must be checked for photosenstivity.
  • What are POST Pastelle Laser guidelines?
    7. What are POST Pastelle Laser guidelines? Following treatment, avoid sun exposure and apply a sunscreen containing at least 5% zinc one hour before going outdoors for at least two weeks. Pure aloe vera gel and cold compresses may be used for comfort and swelling. After 4 hours the skin may be cleansed with a gentle cleanser that is non-abrasive with out artificial fragrance, detergents, color or oils. Moisturize daily with a non-comodogenic moisturizer. Avoid the use of glycolic, retinols and toners for 5-7 days. When dermal or epidermal lesions have been treated, patients are advised to avoid peeling off or damaging any scabbing that may occur and to let the scab fall off naturally. An antibiotic cream can be applied to the lesion until the crust falls off.
