This Privacy Policy describes how MIRAKO collects and uses personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information processed by us, including written and electronic communications. This Privacy Policy describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information.

MIRAKO operates a public website which includes “Contact Us” pages, the online sign-in service, a free consultation service, all of which may collect your Personal Information. MIRAKO may also collect Personal Information from its third party commercial partners, and from in-person visitors to its stores.

General Information Practices

MIRAKO does not sell, share or distribute Customer Information to any third party organization.

Some of our websites utilize framing techniques to serve content from our partners while preserving the look and feel of our website. Please be aware that you are providing your Personal Information to these third parties.

Customer information will be maintained in as accurate, complete and up-to-date form as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is to be used. 

Upon request MIRAKO will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your Personal Information. A customer shall be informed of the existence, use and disclosure of their information, and shall be given access to it, subject to our verification of the requestor’s identity. Customers may verify the accuracy and completeness of their information, and may request that it be amended, corrected, updated or deleted, if appropriate by emailing us. We will respond to your request to access within a reasonable time frame. 

If you would like to unsubscribe to us or to our newsletter options or to stop receiving our promotional/ marketing emails/texts, you may follow the unsubscribe instructions included in each email/text or email us. By not opting-out, you're consent to receive promotional/marketing emails/texts from us.

You may opt-out of location based services at any time by editing the setting at the device level or by emailing us. 

 

   3. Safeguarding Customer Information 

The security of your Personal Information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as geo-location) on our contact us and consultation forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). 

We follow generally accepted standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We display personal testimonials of satisfied customers on our website in addition to other endorsements. With your consent we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us. 

   7. Social Media Features 

Our website includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, such as the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our website. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our website, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our website. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing the Feature; we do not track or store a record of your interaction with the Features. 

   8. Children and Privacy 

MIRAKO does not knowingly collect or maintain the Personal Information of children under 13, and does not sell the Personal Information of children. If we learn that we have collected any Personal Information of a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information from our files as quickly as possible. If you become aware or believe that we may have collected information of a child under 13, please contact us. ​

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes we may notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on the website.
